Based in the beautiful city of Cape Town, South Africa and established in 2007, 2 Oceans Maritime Academy sailing school offers a series of structured RYA sail training courses that cater for different levels of experience: from the first time leisure sailor to the highly experienced yachtsman looking to get his commercial skippers license.

Highly qualified Instructors. Each and every one of our trainers has invaluable practical and theoretical industry experience under his sailing belt.
Individual attention. We deliberately keep our classes small so that you get hands on, personalised training and maximum time at the helm.
Purpose-built boats. We are proud to have the newest and biggest sail training boats in the country. Sailors-in-the-making will get to train on board one of our three brand new Fast 42′ or Pacer 37′s.
RYA Accreditation - 2 Oceans Maritime Academy is an accredited Royal Yachting Association (RYA) training centre. This means that the tuition you receive from us follows an international programme that sets the benchmark for worldwide training standards.
As an accredited centre, we can offer both Sail and Power training schemes and are highly qualified in preparing students to sit various levels of Certificates of Competence – be it Competent Crew or Yachtmaster Ocean / Masters 200 tons. 2 Oceans Maritime Academy is one of South Africa’s leading yachtmaster training sailing schools.
