Welcome to sea of knowledge
We can’t stress how important this training is for those who want to gain work on luxury sail or motor yachts the world over. The course could be viewed as the first step towards a career in the mega dollar sailing industry, or with a gap year in mind, or done simply as a fun way to gain confidence and learn new skills. We have carefully created a programme that will give each aspiring “sailoress” the best tuition and certificates needed to work in the industry.

STCW 95’
A must if working on any boats.
This course comprises three modules that are run by the Academy of Maritime Medicine. It includes First Aid at Sea, Fire Fighting and a PSSR (Personal Safety on Social Responsibility) life raft and survival course.
Accommodation is provided on board one of our three yachts (either a Fast 42’ or our Pacer 37’) for the duration of the Competent Crew module. Chaperoned by one of our professional qualified sailing instructors, students will learn how to live at sea including how to cook from a detailed menu and how to keep a yacht in ship shape. Adventure aside this gives the girls a true sense of sailing and independence. (Should it rain while sailing, we will supply students with Musto Wet weather gear to keep them dry and warm.)
Note: Accommodation is not required during the Power Boat level II course or during the STCW and Stewardess training modules.
