Boats just returned from Simons Town. 2nd trip around the peninsula this week.
2 Powerboat level 2 courses, fun to be had with some power for a change.

Benguela and Cape Storm left Hout Bay  this morning, Light Southerly blowing 7knots, heading due west out of the Bay to Table Bay….

Power Boat level II on the 17/18 October,  1 place left…

Whats Happening @ 2 Oceans Maritime Academy 3 October 2011

Crews on Benguela and Cape Storm started Day Skipper Practical today. All crew keen to get back onto the water after finishing with theory last week.

Next week our Chef course starts looking forward to tasting some good food.

This weekend we have another 2 boats sailing Day Skipper Practical and Competent Crew dates are 7/8/9 Oct and then finishing on the 15/16 October, we still have 2 berths available for any who are interested.

The New Yachtmasters students finished STCW this weekend and all 8 are in lectures this week with Day Skipper theory.  All in high spirits and sounds like they have a Braai competition this evening between Cape Storm and Benguela,  this should be interesting.

Well done, Billy, Warren, Raynard and Don on passing your RYA Yachtmaster Ocean. We wish you guys all the best with your new ticket.

Raynard has flead back to his Yacht in France, Don is doing his Advanced Fire Fighting and First Aid and then flying back to his yacht, Don is currently 2nd Officer but now with his new ticket had been promoted to 1st Officer. Well done Don.

Warren is leaving soon on a delivery and is 2nd Mate. Billy has been offered a opportunity to run a Yacht in Mozambique for dive charters.
